Growing Up, Growing Down

Dear All,
Thanks for all the gig info, news, and, especially, Your Ages lyrics.
However, I am thinking of leaving the list. When something - a pub, a job,
whatever - gets full of aggravation, snide personal comments, and gross
generalisations, I leave it.
Some of us need to remember that sweeping comments and carelessly used
regional insults can cause offense, and some of us need to calm down or
find
some other outlet for their macho posturing.
It`s very easy to sling insults down a telephone line. And if you`re the
kind of person who`d make those comments in person, then I like you even
less.
Sorry if I sound more than a bit pious - maybe (I hope) I have got the
wrong
impression of you from just reading a few lines of hastily typed prose.
And
I am certain that people will form a definite, and more than likely
utterly
wrong, opinion of me from this message. But that`s the whole bloody point.

It takes long enough to read through all the messages on this list every
day, without them pissing me off as well.

Yours, disgruntled,

Phill................
