odds and ends

Bristol sounds like another great show - I forgot to
mention that I *do* have a scanner at my disposal and
I am sure many of us also do if we wanted to get some
of those photos up and going on the site or on the
list...whatever...

Kat - yes, I am forever going to think of Rodney as
the "brittle boy, Doc Martin shoes" from Aeroplane
Blues now.  
as I am also going to picture Stacey being bothered by
a Mexican baby in a laundromat...(but I am afraid I am
going to have to picture you with blonde hair until
further notice...)

which leads me to - RAVEN hair rules.  Guess what
colour my hair is...?!

Everyone congratulate Jason - he has become a Doctor
this week!  GOOD JOB!!!!!!
(That should have been front and center....most
important - have you come down to earth yet, Jason?)

I have never spoken to Wojtek - though I tried very
hard to make a friend of mine approach him and say
"give me a kiss" in Polish (one of the very few
phrases I actually know - thanks to my paternal
Grandparents) - we were all hanging around the
Masquerade in Atlanta and Rodney was ever impressed
with the place since its an old mill and they use a
big platform on pulley to bring the equipment up to
the 3rd floor where the live acts are...(floors are
heaven, purgatory and hell - they played in Heaven)
-seems they had been watching some voodoo movie on the
bus and all agreed that the look of the place was
creepy.  It kinda is....we were playing pool
(billiards) in a cage (ok Rodney was playing pool, we
were drinking).
