Oh, he kept his cool and ignored me - actually I disappeared back into the
mosh-pit without waiting for a reaction, in case he took offence. For the
same reason, my friend and I left the venue just after he (not I!)
persuaded
a girl he was talking to to go and ask Gerard why he always wears
shades...
