.. Anything by the Butcher is outstanding. Buy anything that you can find
because most of it is out of print. New live disc comes out tomorrow,
however. I first saw the 'planes as a warm-up act for the Butcher on the
Cult of the Basement tour. (Swagger era.)
Jazz Butcher and the Blueplanes have a lot in common musically - quite a
natural crossover appeal - maybe mix in a little Go-betweens and some
Spike Jones.
