I'm glad some of you like the Chameleons.
In the case I was not clear enough...
In the eighties I had 3 favorite groups.
The Chameleons were my gods and I definitely wanted to see them once...
So, I was lucky.
I don't know what you guys think of 'the Smiths', but I just loved the
Marr-Morrissey music that much I wanted to see them too. Unfortunately
they only made it to Belgium only once and I couldn't go there. (Still
too young and at the other side of the country; no driver's licence
yet...;). So I got to see Morrissey last year somewhere in octobre and in
the very first days of this solo-career. (though : these weren't the
smiths...)
Pink Floyd was my third band I ever wanted to see (and saw).
Unfortunately Waters was already out ,....
To end... I sincerely hope the chameleons and the blue aeroplanes will
make it this year to Belgium... It would be another dream coming true...
I love lots of music, lots of genres, but these will always be some of my
very best groups....
(Because of their great guitars...)
Hans.
