I saw Husker Du twice (circa flip yr wig & warehouse)- both times were
disappointing - I couldn't make out what the songs were because they were
so noisy and/or the sound was so bad.

On the other hand, I saw the Jesus and Mary Chain - they had their sound
turned down low - which was great because it made them audible - 'made the
feedback that much more melodic! That was one of the best shows I ever
saw (except that the mosh "pit" was basically the whole place - nowhere
was safe. ...and a lot of retro, early 80's Daniel Ash/Robert Smith
wannabes.)
