Very true that most times when a "lead singer"
releases a solo record it very much ends up sounding
like the band he/she came from.
With the exception of perhaps a totally different
direction being taken.
There is still that association with his/her voice
etc.
I find it difficult to think of anything Gerard
releases on his own being drastically different from
the Planes since, as stated before, he is the band.
Like it or not, the rest of them, save Wojtek who
can't be heard on record, are transient.
On the flip, I can see a reason for it, despite him
having a final say on all BA stuff, this can be just
his completely.
Did we ever find out about the book he was to release?
