Was it something I said?

Not that I can hear much at the moment thanks to the Clint Boon Exp gig on
Friday
night. Support band was also very good, but I don't know who they were (Mo
something I think)..... anyone know. Kind of rocky with a black lead
singer
with a great voice.

Cavaliers has arrived and it's pretty good. Nearly as good as the new
Primal
Screamer
My expectation level was just right!! Thanks Ewan.

The production quality is OK. There's just some distortion effects on a
couple of tracks and the sound of some scratchy vinyl over another (a la
Beastie Boys).
Both of the title (?!) tracks are good, and Ghosts and Star-Cross'd are
excellent. Not convinced by Top Of The Pops yet, but I'll give it a couple
of hundred more chances before I write it off

Someone mentioned Boo Hewerdine a while back and I have to admit that I'd
never heard of him. I've just been playing a Darden Smith CD that I got
for
99c on my last US trip. It's part interview/part acoustic
set and the interviewer and accompanying player is none other than Boo
Hewerdine himself. Spooky huh?? No??, OK I'll get me coat

H.
