Fair enough, someone was bound to - maybe I should have said Westlife
fans, except now I've had the scary premonition of Westlife doing a
cover of Northern Sky for their next Number 1 smash...

Does Gerard just do the lyrics or does he get involved in the toons as
well?

Hmmm...don't know, though Autumn Journal XV from FLP2 has lyrics
from a Louis MacNeice poem, and Gerard still gets a co-writing credit.

> p.s. I haven't got the new album yet, but I sense an air of
disappointment from those that already have it. i.e. Everyone is trying
very hard to like it, but it just isn't working. I had the same last year
with the latest Cake album. There's nothing really wrong with it. It just
didn't hit the spot like the first two did.

I like it, but I agree it helps if your expectations aren't too high :-)
By that I don't mean that its not good, just that we're all near
hysterical
after a five year silence, and we get Friendloverplane 3 when we want
Swagger Reborn if you know what I mean
