Yep, Bad Moon Rising was recorded for the NME Ruby Trax
album which was a double album of covers of UK No. 1
hits. I heard an interview with Gerard talking about this
once as the band couldn't decide at the time which song to
cover. I remember that Gerard wanted to do 'Goodie Two
Shoes' by Adam and the Ants but they eventually agreed on
the Creedence Clearwater Revival number. Sorry but I can't
recall why. I reckon the former would have been much more
interesting.
