Just getting to the end of my first listen to the new album, and
uncontroversially enough, I'm enjoying it a lot! Someone said it's
like the early stuff, and I think that's true - rough around the
edges but imbued with a sense of freedom and playfulness that I
think was gradually lost on Life Model and Rough Music. And much
of the great new material from the tour isn't even on it! So
things are looking good for the 'real' new album.
