I only get the digest of this but someone asked a while back about the
highlights of the Avon Scrawling CD.  Apart from the Rodney/Gerard tracks
I
would not miss track 1 by a band called Keyop ("We hate Andrew song").
Crazy name, crazy guys.  Like Portishead crossed with Radiohead (in the
days
when they bothered to write songs) only more cheerful if that makes any
sense at all.  Actually the whole CD is very listenable.  Bristol
continues
to rock.

While I'm writing, did anyone reading this see the Rodney Allen Experience
a
couple of years back?  That gig was at the Borderline in London.  And that
stage sure is small.  Look forward to hearing reports from the December
gigs.
