Yep - Mr. Willson Piper will indeed be with AAE.
I just saw him play 3 times in October/November with a
band...Steve Wynn's band backed him up and it was
really great. They recorded a version of Big Star's
"13" for a tribute on Luna Sea Records...its worth
checking out when it gets released.
On the last night, Peter Koppes and Tim Powles of the
Church joined him onstage - amazing.

Funny thing is that we planned our trip first, then it
happened to just coincide with that AAE date!
Wonderful wonderful...
and when I get back Steve Kilbey is playing a solo
show at the Knitting Factory in NYC.
