Oh well, since the world/wife is posting things...
Phil Hendry - I meant to say thanks for prompting me to get the train to
york for gerard's show recently. Just a shame you couldn't have encouraged
a few more to go out midweek(!) as it was V sparse despite his billing as
the inventor of indie art rock.
And yes, art star was fantastic; The rest...some I'd heard before (here
comes the queen, paper plane etc). 'Had it all...' plodded a bit but it
must have been so hard work drumming up a vibe. Patrick Duff carried the
show in places.
Hope the next full album will get everyone out in support -there seem to
be plenty of US fans that would jump at the chance!
