Re: New Blue Aeroplanes group at yahoogroups.com!

It is a new list altogether. The current list will continue to operate
as long as Nora chooses to keep it running.... I created the Yahoo!
group as a response to some of the mild "complaints" that came up
regarding the recent heavy traffic on the sthomas.net list. I figured a
Yahoo! group would allow greater flexibility for those who do not wish
to receive a hundred individual emails in a day or week - the Yahoo!
group service allows members to receive digests and other features.

I do want to say that this is not meant to undermine the very cool
website and list that Nora runs - in fact, I linked the Yahoo! group to
her Blue Aeroplanes website. However - this might just prove to have a
better feature set than the existing list server.

Also - like I said - I'm totally open to establishing moderator status
for certain "key" persons in the Aeros community. Just email me and let
me know why you (or someone else) should be a moderator, and I'll "make
it so."

I realize that having two email services for the Aeros might be a
hassle, but I really think this new group might be more useful for us in
the long run... If it proves otherwise, well, we can just ignore it or
shut it down.

Let me know what you all think!

- Dwight
