Ok, here's a reply.
The Swagger line up was musically and technically best, but for sheer live
performance, circa 1988/ Friendloverplane was outstanding. Nick Jacobs
running round the stage playing and tripping up Wojteck, and Richard Bell,
Angelo, Ruth cochrane, john Langley all on fire was a line up I will never
forget having only seen it once and 2/3rds of them leaving straight after.
Without sounding too crap. They were truly awesome. Severn Beach was the
highlight.
